Is your Office Chair damaging your flooring?

Is your Office Chair fitted with the right type of castors?

If you are using your Office Chair on a normal carpeted surface, then it is likely that it is fitted with the correct castors.

However, if you are using your Office Seat on a hard floor like a timber or tiled surface, you will need to change the castors to avoid causing damage to the floor’s surface.

These types of surfaces can be damaged by standard chair castors and you will need to speak with your Office Chair supplier to ensure they provide you with the correct castors for use with these types of floor.

You may also find that certain types of carpet and hard floor surfaces mark easily, even when using the correct castors. If this is the case then you need to consider buying a chair mat to protect the surface.

Chair mats generally come in clear plastic and are available for either carpeted or hard surfaced floors and act as a protective layer between your Office Chair castors and flooring.
